What’s your drought style? show us your water-wise landscape!

In southern California, urban residential landscapes use a majority of a household's water. Just because we are in a drought, it doesn’t mean your landscape needs to be brown and/or dead. Water-wise landscaping saves water, is beautiful, and survives in California’s drought environment. Do you have a water-efficient landscape? Enter our contest and show the region that saving water can be beautiful!

The Inland Empire Landscape Contest is held biennially (even years) in the spring to promote attractive water-wise landscapes.  It is sponsored by a consortium of water agencies and related businesses within the Inland Empire, and is operated by Western Municipal Water District of Riverside County, California.

Each winner will receive $500 and will compete in a People’s Choice Competition, where the public will vote for their favorite landscape via social media platforms. The winner of that competition will be featured in Inland Empire Magazine!

The next Landscape Contest will occur in Spring 2024.
